Clothing Club Meets Friday April 10, 2026

We had a small meeting last month and shot the breeze about a lot of things non sewing related. BUT we did pin down some new resources to help you on your fashion creating journey.

Now, Back to this month -

I brought in some fabrics and patterns I plan on creating for BERNINA University in New Orleans coming up at the end of June.

There's a specific color palette, blah blah blah and I am looking for things that we have at the store and fun things to challenge my sewing skills. I settled on Pattern #V2083 from Simplicity.com	I chose a print from Ruby Star Society from the Carousel collection (sorry, it's all gone now).
Additionally, I am committing to making A Blouse from the Lutterloh System I described in my previous blog post. It has chiffon sleeves, and great real-estate for creating an all-over embroidered bib and back. I ordered some fabrics from Mood and plan to document the making of this on our YouTube Channel.
