Snow Globe Holiday Collage Class with Jan

Have you ever wanted to make one of Laura Heine's Collage quilts but simply are overwhelmed by the thought of starting? Do Not Fret - Jan is here to guide you. She will explain the process, show you how to use the supplies, and coach you on how to make your own 16" x 20" Quilted Collage.

You will make a collage quilt in 2 Sessions 

SCHEDULE:

• Thursday, December 11, 4-8PM
• Saturday, December 13, 10AM - 3PM

Class 1: Discover the art of playing with printed fabric, using fabric as "paint" and delving into the techniques and supplies necessary to create a Super-sized snow globe holiday quilt (wall hanging)

Class 2: Stitching, Quilting, Embellishing, and finishing. There are so many options, and Jan has fantastic suggestions for you to bring your collage to life.

Let it snow by Laura Heine  3 1/2 Yards of various fabrics (more than you need, but you will be doing a lot of fussy cutting! Custom cut doo-dads backed with fusible web for details  1 yard of Pattern Ease 8 Yards of 24" wide Steam A Seam 2

You provide the Thread, Batting, Backing, & Enthusiasm 😊 Plus the following:

• Scissors - Perfect Scissors with the fine Point Blue Handle are recommended
• Sewing Machine
  • Power Cord Foot Control
  • Appropriate feet based on teacher's Recos after class 1
  • #2 Pencil
• Optional: Light box and Teflon pressing sheet
