Heirloom Sampler 2027: An adventure in details

We are very proud of our Heirloom Sew-A-long for 2027 in which you will be introduced (or some re-introduced) to delicate heirloom sewing and embroidery techniques. The class registration fee includes the embroidery designs, fabric, thread, stabilizer and original and professionally produced BERNINA of Naperville Videos to assist you in keeping up with the class.
	This program is for anyone with a BERNINA embroidery and Sewing machine combination. Perfect for a BERNINA 5, 7 8, or 9  Series owners.
	This year-long project is a quilt designed to inspire to incorporate new ways of adding pretty details to any new project you take on. You will learn so many techniques. We will meet the last Saturday of the Month from 10AM – 1PM online and in-person starting January 30, 2027. Our 10-lesson program continues through December 18, 2027.

January 30: Lesson 1 – Embroidery basics, Best Threading practices and Embroidery Layout

February 27: Lesson 2 – Free Standing Lace and Drawn thread work

March 27: Lesson 3 – BERNINA Cutwork Tool and Entredeux

April 24: Lesson 4 – The Doily Blocks

May 29: Lesson 5 – Shadow Applique, Trapunto and Decorative stitching

June NO LESSON BECAUSE OF BU

July 31: Lesson 6 – Medalion assembly and Endless Embroidery

August 28: Lesson 7 – Embellished fabric with wing needle work, pintucking and double needles and expanding these skills to the embroidery module

September 25: Lesson 8 – Crazy Patch and more Embroidery Composition

October 30: Lesson 9 – Attaching the final elements, Mitered Borders and quilting

December 18: Lesson 10 – Scalloped Borders, three dimensional yo-yos, quilt label and piped binding with free standing lace insertions.
