BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 is the newly developed software with the long time embroiderist and the BERNINA Software newbie in mind. It opens the door to outstanding and creative embroidery and is available in two levels. These Classes will cover Creator through BERNINA Embroidery Software Designer Plus 9.
2026 SPRING/SUMMER Session
March 18: Class One - Introduction. Learn the symbols and language of the BERNINA Software, basic navigation, and how to open and transfer embroidery designs.
March 25: Class Two - Design manipulation. Create show-stopping designs based on pre-designed items. You will learn to ungroup/group, break apart, edit, Mirror-Merge, wreath maker, and array.
April 1: Class Three - Digitizing Basics. Learn how to insert artwork, manually digitize with left click and right click techniques and discover the different fill and outline stitches.
April 8: Class Four - Quilter. Learn how to use the BERNINA Quilter application, which comes with the BERNINA Embroidery Software.
April 15: Class Five - Learn the Cross Stitch Maker basics. Learn how to create a cross stitch design suited to stitch in your embroidery machine. You will work from a photograph, existing hand cross-stitch patterns, and more.
April 22: Class Six - Autodigitizer. It's all about the image prep in this class which is designed to offer more tools to make your digitizing decisions easier.
April 29: Class Seven - Photostitch and Photosnap. Turn your photography into embroidery designs in one click. These techniques work very well for memory projects, fiber embellishment, and more.
May 6: Class Eight - Blackwork. For hundreds of years this time-honored hand work has been passed down. Now we can easily achieve the same effect with our software and embroidery machine.
May 13: Class Nine - Quilting Stitch Designing. Create a motif and a continuous line quilting design using the BERNINA auto-digitizing tools.
May 20: Class Ten - Labels and Patches. It's important to commemorate your work. This class is appropriate for garment labels too!
May 27: Class Eleven - Applique. In the hoop, projects are all the rage, especially hoop appliqué. Learn how to create your own designs, or convert your favorite applique patterns into something easily created in your embroidery machine.
June 3: Class Twelve - Using cutwork tools to cut out your digitized applique creations.
