PATCHWORK PATTERNS Re-Booted: Learn Precision Patchworking Class
THIS IS A HANDS-ON CLASS and meets in person at BERNINA of Naperville
Have you always wanted to learn how to quilt? It starts by making the patchwork. In the 10 part class, you will be guided through all of the steps to create a traditional sampler quilt.
Gayle has been teaching this class for close to 20 years and it never disappoints. She will teach you the traditional quilting techniques she learned while living in Vermont, but also has modern tricks up her sleeves for the modern quilter.
We have an in person Meet-Up scheduled Saturdays from 11am-2pm. During the Meet-ups you will make traditional patchwork blocks. Learn old school and modern techniques as well as the history of the featured blocks in each lesson.

- April 25: Lesson 2: Variable Star, Flying Geese, and sawtooth star
- May 9: Lesson 3: Log Cabin, Bear's Paw
- May 23: Lesson 4: Drunkard's Path and Orange Peel
- June 13: Lesson 5: Dresden Plate, Grandmother's Flower Garden and Applique
- July 11: Lesson 6: Storm at Sea
- July 25: Lesson 7: Le Moyne Star, and Bowtie
- August 8: Lesson 8: Square in a square and Pineapple Block
- August 22: Lesson 9: Squaring up your blocks and laying it out, sashing and basting
- September 5: Lesson 10: Quilting suggestions
