Sometimes simple patchwork is all you need to make a whole world of dynamic movement and beauty come to life. Kaleidoscope blocks pair up with Snowball blocks to create a dazzling, interlocking design in my Iconic Quilt. Inspired by my fabric collection of the same name, this quilt is a fussy-cutter's dream. However, it is charming enough to suit even the scrappiest version when attention is paid to color and value balance. Because all of the Iconic fabrics share a symmetrical design and a basic alternating stacked repeat, cutting the patchwork shapes specifically over the floral designs is simple. I will not say it is quick. But the results are absolutely joyful and well worth the attention to detail!
