Paper Piecing: Online Tutorial

From the Alison Glass teeny foundation pieced blocks, to an atomic starburst, you’ve had you eyes on making them, but need an extra push to get started! Gayle will walk you through the steps and tools you need to successfully use this technique in your projects. Your points will match, you’ll have fun and you will learn a new skill.

 

Supplies

• Cotton sewing thread
• 80 Sharp Needle
• Rotary Cutter (we will show 18mm as an option)
• Small cutting mat (we have the see though nifty notions small mats that pair with the light box)
• Add a quarter ruler
• Scotch tape
• Selection of fabric – light to dark, consider purchasing some scraps by the ¼ from the BERNINA of Naperville stash, or our bitty and itty bitty bundles.
