General Admission Classes
As we continue to introduce our new class line-up, we have made some adjustments to our class structure. To make classes as comfortable as possible during the age of COVID-19, we have reduced the number of classes and their length.
We are committed to providing the best educational programming, which means we will supplement classes with in-house produced tutorials to help you continue learning and creating. Please subscribe to our YouTube Channel, we load 2-4 videos a week!
How to use a Sewing Machine
The most highly requested class we've received.
This class for anyone who has a sewing machine that you do not know how to use. Perhaps you have a basic machine from a “Big Box” store, an older BERNINA 830 in that iconic red case or even a new to you legacy BERNINA. No worries, Gayle will guide you through the basics. Learn the basic machine operation of your sewing machines. We cover threading, bobbin winding, stitch selection, altering stitches and regular oiling and cleaning.
Please note that this class has a $15 registration fee.

Paper Piecing: From the Alison Glass teeny foundation pieced blocks, to an atomic starburst, you’ve had you eyes on making them, but need an extra push to get started! Marisa will walk you through the steps and tools you need to successfully use this technique in your projects. Your points will match, you’ll have fun and you will learn a new skill.
Pussy Bow Blouse - The Pussy Bow Blouse is a beautiful, classic design that will always be in style. In this class you will make the classic V-neck style. Because the blouse features a slightly dropped shoulder and a loose-fitting dart-less bodice, this is the perfect project to begin working with fabrics with a soft drape. Depending on your sewing skill level, you may choose to make a cuff for the sleeve or add elastic.
Sewing with Fur: Simple Pillow - You don't have to be a master costumier to sew with sequins! Make this cute 17" pillow from our Shannon Grizzly Faux Fur and a zipper.
