Patchwork Patterns: Start Quilting with Grandmother's Flower Garden and Dresden Plate
Hand draft templates for the famous Grandmother's Flower Garden Hexies, plus dissect a circle to split it into 8 wedges for the Dresden plate block. Both of these blocks require hand work, but we will also show you some less traditional machine techniques for construction.

Supplies (for Grandmother's Flower Garden block only):
- 4 Fat 1/4's: Dark, 2 mediums and a light background
- Consider prints with tiny designs on them for fussy cutting
Supplies (for rail Dresden Plate block only):
- 2 Fat 1/4's: Medium and a Dark
- 1 Scrap 2" for center
- 1, 13" Light Background square

There will also be various notions, cutting tools, pressing devices and such recommended throughout the class.
Please remember that there are various methods to quilting, we will show you tips, tricks and provide expertise instruction, but ultimately you will find your own favorite techniques.
